Oregon Association of Teacher Educators (ORATE) represents teacher educators from public and private teacher preparation programs across the state as well as Deans, Directors, and administrators from all levels of education. Each are committed to the improvement of teacher preparation and, in turn, P-12 education. ORATE is the state affiliate of the national Association of Teacher Educators. You are invited to the 13th Annual ORATE Conference Friday, March 5, 2010 at Western Oregon University Werner University Center, 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Owning the Future through a Comprehensive Vision for Teacher Education. Keynote speaker for the conference is Dr. Edward Crowe Senior Adviser for Higher Education Programs at Carnegie Corporation of New York & Teaching Fellows Program at Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation
